How to use
MORNING & NIGHT
After cleansing and toning, warm up 1 to 2 pumps of serum in your palms by rubbing them together (amount will vary depending on your skin). Warming up the oil is important, as it makes it absorb into the skin quicker and more thoroughly. Gently press into face, neck and chest.
LAYERING TIPS
- For oilier skin, apply to skin before moisturizer (or skip moisturizer).
- For drier skin, apply to skin after moisturizer (such as hyaluronic acid) to seal it in.
- Follow with other products, sunscreen, makeup, etc.
- Also works as a multi-tasking primer.

Blue Tansy
Blue Tansy, also known as Moroccan Blue Chamomile, is a yellow-flowered Mediterranean plant. Highly valued for its skin cooling and soothing benefits, it’s an excellent choice for irritated, extra dry or blemished skin. This steam-distilled oil has a heavenly scent that is sweet and herbaceous, and its characteristic deep indigo color comes from a chemical compound called chamazulene.

Green Bee Botanicals uses only plant-derived squalane. (We never use any animal derived ingredients–not even honey!) Squalene is a very light, colorless oil that is naturally occurring in human sebum. This oil has antioxidant properties and is highly moisturizing because it absorbs very readily, leaving skin soft and supple.

We use tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, an oil-based ester of vitamin C, because we’ve found it to be more effective–more stable, than the water-soluble version (ascorbic acid). Argan Oil
Argan oil is derived from the kernels of the fruit of the argan tree found in Morocco. This nourishing and vitamin E-rich ‘dry’ oil is valuable for its ability to deeply moisturize without leaving a greasy residue. It has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in fatty acids, immediately improving the appearance and texture of skin.

Basil has excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, great for protecting and soothing irritated skin. The particular species of basil we use (Ocimum basilicum) is very high in the terpene linalool, which is known for its ability to calm stressed skin and minds. Basil lends its cool, sweet, mild anise-like notes to our Renewing Serum’s heavenly natural scent.

I have been using the renewing serum for about 5 years to relieve trigeminal nerve pain caused by a really severe case of shingles. Not only does the serum relieve the pain, but it seems to make my (almost 85 year old) face look smoother and less ‘wrinkly’.
