Bohemian Chemist – a cannabis spa hotel in wine country

We’re thrilled to announce our newest retail partner, The Bohemian Chemist—an herbal apothecary and spa with an emphasis on locally-sourced and sun-grown cannabis. Did you hear that? YES, IT IS A SPA AND DISPENSARY INSIDE A BOUTIQUE FARM-STAY HOTEL!   They carry tinctures, edibles, flower, and bath & body care products, including Green Bee Botanicals (can you find our logo hiding in the pic above?).

This vintage Art Deco-inspired apothecary is located in The Madrones in Philo, California in the heart of Anderson Valley wine country, about 45 minutes south of Mendocino and 2 hours north of San Francisco. Surrounded by vineyards and redwood forests, The Madrones is not quite a bed & breakfast or a hotel — it’s a Mediterranean farm-stay compound influenced by the Italian Agriturismo concept of staying on a working farm or winery. In addition to The Bohemian Chemist, there are elegant guest quarters, wine tasting rooms, and a world class restaurant serving wood fired cuisine.

We’re excited to share the news that San Francisco native Reese Benton just made history with the grand opening of her Posh Green Cannabis Boutique in the Bayview — San Francisco’s first Black woman-owned dispensary. Follow at @poshgreenretail. Dubbed the “Nordstrom of Cannabis” and a milestone for the city’s equity program, Posh Green offers carefully-curated top-shelf premium cannabis products and supports local farmers and greenhouse vendors.
