Kim’s grandfather, Major Glenn D. Stewart, flew in WWII and the Korean War, until a plane crash disabled and disfigured him for life. We’re remembering them today, as well as the many around the world that weren’t lucky enough to come home. I asked my brother Greg, an 82nd Airborne vet, which organizations are best to donate to that support veterans suffering from PTSD, and he recommends @operationmend @themissioncontinues and @k9sforwarriors. If you can’t donate, the #OperationMend Buddy Program allows you to connect with veterans and their families to provide an extra layer of social support and connection.
